The Minority Association of Pre-Medical Students (MAPS) is proud to host our annual Pre-Health Conference (PHC), the largest pre-health event in Washington state tailored for high school students, undergraduates, and community college students. This year’s PHC will bring together aspiring healthcare professionals from diverse backgrounds, providing them with invaluable opportunities to expand their professional networks and gain insights into various healthcare careers. The PHC features a variety of workshops led by physicians, researchers, and healthcare professionals, covering essential topics such as suturing, MCAT preparation, and medical ethics. By inspiring students of all ages to pursue careers in healthcare, the PHC not only supports their educational and career goals but also fosters a diverse, equitable, and inclusive community within the healthcare industry.
Lunch and breakfast will be provided with the purchase of a PHC ticket, with vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options available. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee that provided food is entirely allergen free, so those with dietary restrictions may want to consider packing their own food for the day. Breakfast options will be bagels, pastries, and fruit from Costco, and lunch options will be a banh mi sandwich (chicken or tofu) or spring rolls (GF)(tofu, chicken, or shrimp), catered from Saigon Deli.
